As Master Craftsman, I invite you to enjoy our site full of delightful woodcrafts and woodturnings, including nutcrackers, candleholders, stair spindles, columns and a full set of figurines for childrens' rooms. Back in 1983, when I opened my first shop in Germany, I used the name "Drechslerwaren und Kunstgewerbe," Drechslerwaren (D), meaning "woodturning items" and Kunstgewerbe (K) meaning, "doing or dealing with artwork". Our logo was designed by a designer friend as a gift for my birthday, and it reflects my sense of humor too. When we came to the USA, I kept the "DK" and the logo, and then I added "Woodturning" to it, and it tells the whole story.
